It's been too long!

I received an email yesterday from a person who is looking for a Congregational Church with a choir.  She said she had seen my blog and was interested in perhaps checking us out.  How exciting that someone had read this blog and it brought her to inquire about us.  Then I said to myself, I haven't written anything lately I guess I should update things.

It has been a good year for us in some ways, we have grown in numbers adding three new members to our fold.  In other ways it has been hard to watch two of our members suffer from cancer!  We continue to pray for them and hope for healing and strength!

Next Sunday will be our last regular service for the year.  Our summer hours will begin as well as our special music.  I will post a schedule for this once it is set.  Worship will begin at 9:30 starting June 15th.

A special thanks to all our members for a wonderful year in making music together!

WELCOME BACK CHOIR!!!!

It was wonderful seeing all of you on Sunday!  I am sure that it will be a wonderful year.  As I told the members at rehearsal Thursday evening, I've bought some new music which I'm sure you will all like.  I am in the process of now looking for a cantata with a star theme.  Hope you all have a great week.  Just a reminder if anyone is interested in attending the symposium on choirs at the Saco Congregational Church this coming Saturday, please let me know and I'll get you the details!

Choir Symposium

Just an update on a fall evert that I will be a part of.  I would love to have some of you join me for this.  I realize it means giving up a Saturday but it would be fun to get away but not too far a jaunt for us!

Rehearsal for Thursday - Important Notice!!

This Thursday at 6, there is a wedding rehearsal in the sanctuary. No organist...we will finish just as choir is beginning...Diane has asked that all choir members please enter via the elevator/robie/bridge... they will be having a rehearsal dinner downstairs in the vestry at 7 . . . parking might be compromised as well.
